AutoCAD LT is a more lightweight, lower cost version of AutoCAD. It does not include all the features found in AutoCAD. When paired with a scanner or digital camera, one can create documents to be shared and viewed on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
Licensing and support
The product is licensed on a perpetual basis. The license fee includes one year of maintenance. Pricing is varied by the use of the standard, multi-year and multi-seat license. Unlike most proprietary software packages, AutoCAD is royalty-free, so the company does not impose charges for its use. Support can be obtained from authorized service providers at Autodesk.com, from authorized dealers or through the original equipment manufacturer.
The product has no hardware requirements, since it runs directly on the Windows OS (operating system). However, it requires a minimum of 16 GB of RAM to run (32 GB recommended) for drawing of three-dimensional models, and at least 4 GB for two-dimensional drafting. This system requirement is similar to most CAD programs.
AutoCAD R14 (2004) introduced the Interactive Edit mode, an interactive mode that enables users to change the properties of elements, such as the width and height of a wireframe. It was incorporated into the product because users often wanted to test their layouts or find out what a certain measurement was supposed to be before building the physical product. When the user selects the object, a dropdown appears that displays each property available to that object. This was to make the process easier for the user.
Since AutoCAD is a 2D CAD program, it has a preference for straight lines over arcs. To avoid this preference, straight lines can be converted into arcs. This can be done automatically with one of several algorithms, or manually.
In AutoCAD 2014, the Arc Height and Arc Width tools are removed from the ribbon interface. Instead, the Height and Width tools are accessed via the context menu. The Arc Height tool allows the user to change the height of an arc. The Arc Width tool allows the user to change the arc’s width.
In AutoCAD 2016, this capability is expanded to include the ability to change the height and width of: (1) Splines; (2) Spline and Bezier curves; (3) Polylines; (4) Closed and Open meshes; (5) Intersection of 2 curves; (6) C

Port Arthur – Austin Accord
The Port Arthur – Austin Accord was a series of informal trilateral talks aimed at bringing an end to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which came into effect in January 1994. These talks were led by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from November 1993 to June 1994. A delegation from the United States led by United States Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky and White House economic advisor Lawrence Summers met in Mexico City with their counterparts from Canada and Mexico in February 1994.
Early trilateral talks
The informal talks began in November 1993 with an initial bilateral US/Canadian meeting in Port Arthur, Texas. The follow-up discussions took place in Austin, Texas. At the outset of the talks, the Mexican delegation led by Deputy Mexican Minister of Foreign Relations José Azcona sought to convince the United States and Canada that the Mexican government was not as committed to the North American Free Trade Agreement as it appeared to be.
In a high-level March 1994 meeting at the White House, Mexican foreign minister Carlos Pascual warned US president-elect Bill Clinton of Mexico’s displeasure over the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement without Mexico being fully consulted.
Following the initial Port Arthur – Austin Accord, the three countries then conducted bilateral discussions in Washington, D.C., in early 1994. The Canadians, as part of the Business Council on North American Affairs
